Abstract: With the development of the electrical industry, the requirements for the safety and reliability of equipment are getting higher and higher. Under this condition, a wireless temperature measurement system for high-voltage equipment came into being. It is to install temperature sensors with batteries or CT powered at each temperature measurement point. The sensor sends the temperature measurement data to the receiving unit, and the receiver can be connected to the system to realize the electrical temperature monitoring. This article introduces the application of Acrel wireless temperature measurement products in Beijing Daxing International Airport.

1.Project Overview

As a large international transportation hub, Beijing Daxing International Airport is located between Beijing Daxing District and Guangyang District, Langfang City, Hebei Province. The airport terminal high-voltage substation includes 668 high-voltage cabinets. Acrel provided it with a wireless temperature measurement solution. The upper and lower contacts and cable joints of each high-voltage cabinet were tested at 9 points. There were a total of 6015 wireless temperature sensors. At the same time, it should be installed an ASD320 intelligent control device on each high-voltage cabinet.


2.Introduction of Wireless Temperature Measurement Products

Wireless temperature measurement products are suitable for temperature monitoring of cable joints, circuit breaker contacts, copper bars, cables, and equipment surfaces in medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, and reflect the operating status of equipment in a timely, continuous and accurate manner to improve the safety on equipment.
